Guest Post Featuring Bella

Welcome back, all! I’m so glad you’re here! You’re in for a very special treat today!!! I have a guest blogger, Bella from Peculiar Treasures, here with an amazing post! Here it is!:

Hi everyone! My name is Bella, and I’m so excited to be writing a guest post today. This is actually the very first guest post I’ve ever done, so it’s really exciting for me 😃. I’ve always enjoyed poetry, so when Alexis invited me to share something on her wonderful blog, I thought it would be fun to share one of my own poems with you all!

I usually write poems to express myself or the things I find beautiful. In this case, I wrote this poem about two things: how beautiful the country is—the animals, the sky, the land, the wind—and how the Lord has my whole life written out, while I sometimes wonder where that path might lead and what it might look like.

So here is my poem, A Perfect Morning.

A new morning wakes with rooster calls,
The gold sunlight gushing amongst the land,
My worn-out boots sit beside the door
And my hands are just a bit sun-tanned.

The sky spans wide above the farm,
The earth crackling beneath my feet,
And every breeze through swaying grass
Makes the beautiful country life complete.

The wind runs loose across the land,
Through wood fences old and strong,
The birds sing their playful tunes
As they bounce and strut along.

But somewhere past the long gravel roads,
Where wildflowers put their roots,
God writes my path through open fields
And guides these dusty boots.

Yet sometimes when the evening falls
And stars awake in the blue,
I wonder what beyond these hills
The Lord might lead me to.

A country girl with hopeful dreams,
With faith to guide her way,
Knowing the God who made it all
Is leading me every day.

Aaaaand yeah, that’s my poem! I hope y’all liked it!! Thank you so much, Alexis, for letting me stop by and write a few words!

I hope you all have a beautiful and blessed day!

Bella ❤️

Wasn’t that so beautiful?! I admire people who can write poetry very much! I certainly don’t have that talent, so it makes it kind of mind-blowing to me! Before you go, make sure to visit her blog page here, where you can find more of her poetry and other fun posts! Thank you so much for stopping by! (-:
