I went out with some friends for ice cream after church last night… such a sweet part of summer! Also, strawberry + pineapple Dole Whip is DELICIOUS.

I definitely like having the longer daylight! shorts and tank tops, no shoes or slip on sandals,
seeing my lilies in full bloom and all green of lawns, trees, etc. more sunshine and warmer temps. seeing my family more (whether they come to swim or a quick pop in to say “hi” ..(.who wants to get all bundled up and go out in the freezing cold/snow to just do that ? ) I feel happier when there is more sunshine and summer gives me lots of that!

A few of my favorite summery things: Watermelon, peaches, blackberries, reading outside, fireflies, wildflowers, and crickets singing at night. ☺️
