Sunshine Blogger Award

Hey everyone! I’m back with ANOTHER tag this week!! I feel so honored to be tagged in these posts, especially because I’m still pretty new to the blogging community. It’s worked out great for me, though, because I’ve been slacking a bit lately with regular blog posts. Not on purpose -I don’t plan on going anywhere any time soon- I’ve just had a lot going on. So having a theme and guidelines to go by has helped save time and such. So, thank you again, Bella! I’ve been having fun with these! And if any of you missed checking out her blog last week, here’s the link to her blog, Peculiar Treasures, so you can go see it this week!
Here are the guidelines:
- Display the award’s official logo somewhere on your blog.
- Thank the person who nominated you.
- Provide a link to your nominator’s blog.
- Answer your nominator’s questions.
- Nominate up to eleven bloggers.
- Ask your nominees eleven questions.
- Notify your nominees by commenting on at least one of their blog posts.
Here are Bella’s questions and my answers!
1. If you could have any job you wanted what would you choose?
Stay-at-home wife, mom, and homeschool teacher. (I am a homeschool teacher! (-:)
2. What’s a random topic you could talk about for hours?
Books, homeschooling, and the Bible. Things I’m passionate and knowledgeable about!
3. If your life were a movie, what genre would you choose?
Romcom. (Light-hearted, fun, and interesting; not sad or scary.)
4. What book character would you trade lives with for a day?
Rilla, from Rilla of Ingleside. She’s at a good age, gets to take care of a baby, and has some romance going on! (Besides the fact that she’s from one of my favorite book series.) And since it would only be for a day, the war element wouldn’t be too much of a factor to consider.
5. If you could be friends with any singer/actor who would it be?
Jamie Grace. She’s been such an encouragement to me over the years and is so funny!
6. What is your favorite color and why?
Pink! It’s so pretty and feminine!
7. If you could only eat the same meal for a month what would it be?
Something I wouldn’t mind getting tired of and never wanting to eat again. So… Something like grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, or baked potatoes, maybe? Lol. Something I like yet could live without.
8. What book made you fall in love with reading?
Probably all the books read to me before I was old enough to read! There was a specific nursery rhyme book my dad used to read to me that I liked… Then the little kid books I started reading when I was able to read myself… Ooh, Fancy Nancy, probably! Lol! I was obsessed!
9. If you could live in the world of any book, what would it be?
I kind of want to say Anne of Green Gables or Elsie Dinsmore’s world, but there are things about back then I wouldn’t like… But there are pros and cons to everything… So I guess I’d go with one of those.
10. If you could live anywhere in the world (cost free) where would you choose?
In the country somewhere close-ish at least to where I live now… Or Florida or Georgia since it’s warm and there’s the ocean. Not that I really want to move far away any time soon at all.
11. What is the best plot twist you’ve ever read?
Oh, man, this is a great question, but I really don’t know! I don’t have that good of a memory when it comes to plots and details of books… I know the Green Ember series was always surprising me, but I read those so long ago and don’t actually remember a whole whole lot about them… I might have to come back to this one. I really wish I had a good answer for this one!
That was fun! It would be such a fun in-person conversation, too! Now for my questions…
- What is your favorite book of the Bible?
- Where are you in sibling order, and how many siblings do you have?
- What’s next up on your reading list or “TBR”?
- What is one thing on your bucket list?
- What is your comfort movie?
- What sport, if any, did (or do) you play in high school? Are there any you wish you tried or want to try?
- What’s your favorite dessert?
- What’s your favorite time period (even if you wouldn’t want to live back then)?
- What has been the biggest accomplishment of your life thus far?
- What habit do you want to get rid of?
- What is your favorite Psalm?
Those are my questions! I’m just going to tag one other blogger this time, though anyone who wants to do this can consider themselves nominated (and sorry if this is a duplicate), but I tag Hope Elizabeth at Flame! Go check out her blog- and be sure to subscribe! And don’t forget to visit Bella’s page and subscribe to hers too!
Thanks for reading! Please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts below!
Also, before you go, I’d like to know if you have any post requests or ideas you’d like to see here on AlexLinnInspired as we near one year of the blog! I look forward to hearing from you!
