Teen Girls Gift Guide
I know many people would disagree with me, but I think it is so sad that summer is coming to a close for the year. However, there are many things about fall -and the colder months in general- that I am looking forward to, including family birthdays! They really help make the cold months more bearable. And one of the most fun things about birthdays is probably the gift giving and receiving! Whether you like to go shopping or not, or if you like online shopping or not, today I want to give you some ideas (as a girl) on the types of things girls like to get as gifts for their birthdays -that won’t cost a fortune! Some years can be harder than others to shop for, so I am going to give you a list of items that can cover a pretty large age range, ranging from about 13-19, that you can easily purchase from Amazon! All girls are different, of course, so what one girl may like another won’t, but I’m going to try to make this list somewhat broad.
1. Makeup brush set. Whether it’s just for play or for every day use, makeup brushes should be a pretty safe go-to gift for teen girls. There are so many different shapes and sizes of brushes, so even if she already has some brushes, new ones might give her some fresh new options and she may find some new favorites in the mix! Here is a link to a set I own and use, some of them on a regular basis and some for my mannequin head! I love the pink color, though they come in a champagne color also, and the set has such a variety of brushes! It even has a comb for eyebrows/lashes, which is nice!

2. Nail art kit. If you know a girl going through a nail art phase, check this out! This is something else that I own, this particular set featuring all kinds of stuff (without being ridiculously priced!), including brushes, dotters in multiple sizes, cute little butterfly stickers, gems, tweezers for the gems, and more! I think the only thing I wish it would’ve come with is nail glue for the gems, but you can easily buy that separately for so cheap, and here is a link just for that! The nail art set also does not come with artificial nails, as it can be used for natural nails, but if you’re looking for something with artificial nails Amazon has lots of options with those too!
3. Pedicure set. This is yet another set with so many cool tools that isn’t outrageously priced! As a girly girl, all of these sets I’ve talked about so far have been a lot of fun, and have lasted me several years! I like that this particular set comes with it all- toenail clippers, files, buffers, a cuticle pusher… Just click the link to see everything yourself! <3 Perfect for spa nights in with the girls! Pedicures are great to do at home, saving some money while still looking and feeling fabulous!
4. My pedicure set didn’t come with nail polish, so here are some of my most-used brands that you can also throw into your Amazon shopping cart! Pure Ice, L.A.Colors, Sally Hansen (the Insta-Dri polishes), and Sinful Colors. Have funnnnn!!! (-;

5. Makeup mirror. This one comes in 6 different colors- can you guess which one I have?? I love that this mirror lights up with LED lights on the screen, that it has multiple magnifications, and that it’s flexible! It is kind of small, depending on your preference, but it’s a good size for traveling! I plug mine in with a USB cord, but I believe batteries will make it work just as well!
6. Jewelry cabinet. I do not know what I did before I had this! LOL! This has made storing and organizing my jewelry so much easier! And I will just say, mine is full! I’ve got jewelry, hair ties and clips, and lipstick/gloss all stored neatly inside! It holds so much stuff! It is mounted on my bedroom wall, includes LED lights on the inside, and a lock and keys. Oh, and one of the best parts- the outside of it is a mirror! I sit in front of it to do my hair, check my outfits in it, etc. If that isn’t enough for you to get it, I don’t know what is! (A girl can’t have too many mirrors on hand, can she?) See all the deets here!

7. Amazon Music subscription. Girls love to listen to music! I mean, who doesn’t? It can be fun, comforting, inspirational, and so much more! I have the app on my phone and I love being able to just look up whatever I want and listen to it! I think I had Amazon Music throughout all my teen years, and I am so thankful I did!
8. Puzzles. I love putting together puzzles while listening to music. It’s such a win-win! My favorite kind of puzzles are the Ceaco Thomas Kinkade Disney ones, including ones of Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, and Mickey and Minnie. They’re so pretty and relaxing! I usually do the 1,000-piece ones, but there are some with 300 or 750 pieces instead.

9. Curling wand. There are a lot of options for curling wands out there, but if you’re getting one for a teen girl just starting out with her own heat tools, I would say the Conair 1-inch wand would be a good starter one. It’s simple and inexpensive, but gets the job done!
10. Books. I know “books” is a pretty broad idea, but thankfully for you, I have a post with a list of books for pre-teen/younger teens with Amazon links to them! I even read or re-read some of them in my mid-teens too. If these are too young for your reader, though, be on the lookout for more reading list posts in the future!
As I said, everyone has different tastes, so be mindful of that fact when shopping! I just wanted to make a list easy for you to shop from of things I personally really liked throughout my teen years and I know other girls have enjoyed as well. I could probably go on with the list, but I won’t overwhelm you today! I wish you much success in your shopping!
